Responsibilities
 
●     Spearhead the software design and development activities of Zuora’sSaaS Relationship Business Management application suite, in the areas of Billing, Payment and Revenue.
●     Be innovative in using JavaEE and open source solutions to build enterprise scale SaaS application suite. 
●     Work closely with SaaS platform and infrastructure team to help to drive technology roadmap
●     Work closely with other architects to ensure architectural integrity of end-to-end systems
●     Mentoring next generation of Zuora architects and principle engineers
●     Lead the resolution of complex customer issues and escalations
 
 
Desired Skills and Experience
 
●     Have broad expertise and thorough knowledge in building highly scalableSaaSapplications on JavaEE technical stack, including Hibernate, Spring Framework. 
●     Have in-depth understanding of multi-tenant database systems; Experienced with MySQL or other Databases; Familiar with other cloud computing technologies
●     Have thorough hands-on experience of Java, Web Technologies (JSP, HTML, XML, Ajax, CSS), Application Servers, clustering, data warehouse, Ant/Maven build system, AMQ and so on.
●     Have in-depth understanding of application performance and scalability in large-scale online systems.
●     Excel in an agile development environment to produce reliable and scalable product features on a consistent basis.
●     Work great both independently and in a team, and able to deliver under tight release schedules.
●     Great team player with leadership skills to resolve conflicts and drive consensus across teams.
●     Experience in building large-scale Billing/Payment/Revenue products with deep domain knowledge is a plus
●     15+ years of software development experience with leadership role
