Channel Sales Manager

Description

The Channel Sales Manager (CSM) is responsible for selling SkyCloud Software\'s products through indirect sales channels, such as OEMs and VARs.  This individual serves as a liaison to channel partners with regards to any sales related issues.  The CSM supports the channel partners through the development of effective, programmatic sales initiatives aimed at driving sales volume.  The incumbent is also responsible for calling on accounts, coordinating the sales process, and ensuring adequate sales and professional services support.

Responsibilities
•	Manage existing channel sales partners with target revenue.
•	Manage potential partners as they come on board 
•	Provide sales support to sales organizations of channel partners
•	Interface with Product and Marketing team  – providing market feedback and early product adoption support
•	Develop and evolve individual sales plans for each partner organization
•	Manage virtual Skycloud team: SE’s, Marketing, Support, Services to support of channel partner’s sales plans
•	Attend (as necessary) conferences, trade fairs etc to support SkyCloud and partner network

Requirements
•	Bachelor’s degree in science or business.  Advanced degree in business management, marketing, or planning desirable.  Minimum 5 years experience channel sales capacity
•	Background in developing sales, selling and closing deals, and managing programmatic sales initiatives to major system vendor OEMs or enterprise class application ISVs
•	Entrepreneurial attitude to developing new distribution channels and partnerships
•	Experience working in a high-tech/software development company – middleware experience desirable but not necessary
•	Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
•	Excellent organization skills – able to multi task with strong attention to detail
•	Excellent English Skill
