Job Purpose for Data Scientist：
Apply strong mathematics, algorithms, machine learning, industry know-how and skillsets to establish advanced analytics and innovative solutions for enterprises around the globe and in the Chinese market, especially in big data analysis area. 

Key Responsibilities:
-Understand the customer pain points, analyze the market needs, design and develop the solution blueprint that align with the broader business goals in an innovative fashion through objective assessment on the customer’s existing business imperatives and IT investments.

-Be responsible for the overall management of big data fabric implementation throughout its lifecycle for customer projects

-Collaborate with the business to answer business questions by using data mining techniques like pattern recognition, graph analysis and statistical analysis, for customer projects, and guide implementation

-Support the business development activities to help qualifying the right opportunities, contribute to the proposal development, and coordinate the engineering resources to perform proof of concept (POC) projects in order to win the customers

-Be product manager of some strategic products and solutions incorporating advanced analytics


Qualification and Experience:
-Bachelor degree or above, graduate mathematics and statistics
-Substantial knowledge in statistical analysis, computer science, natural language processing, algorithms, and machine learning

-With industrial background, have deep understanding for at least one industry, preferable, banking, retail, ecommerce, T&T, etc.

-Good communication skill both in English and Chinese
-Be familiar with C++ or Java
-Be familiar with SAS, SPSS, and R relevant product and technologies

-With rich BI project experience preferred
-With Big Data project experience preferred
Willing to travel frequently within China
